He attained CCT (Certificate of completion of training) in Diabetes and Endocrinology after undergoing comprehensive training in Diabetes and Endocrinology in the United Kingdom. He completed his DNB in General Medicine in India before pursuing Diabetes and Endocrinology speciality training in the UK. He is going to lead the Radio Iodine services for hyperthyroid conditions soon in his health board which comprises of 4 hospitals. He is heavily involved in teaching and is a tutor in ‘Diploma of Endocrinology’ course run by the University of South Wales. He is also a lecturer and involved in the training programme of the diabetes and endocrine trainees. Dr Ravindran is very fond of research and innovation and have collaborated in many research activities. This has led to several publications in renowned medical journals and have been the first author in several of these. He is currently involved in 2 major projects. He deeply care for his patients wellbeing and try his very best in making their lives better.
