Dr. Abhishek Bhatia is a qualified Gastroenterologist who completed his MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine at Sion Hospital, Mumbai. He then pursued his DM in Gastroenterology from the prestigious Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. Over the course of his academic training, Dr. Bhatia developed strong diagnostic, clinical and procedural capabilities in managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
With a sharp clinical acumen and over 4,000 upper GI endoscopies and 300+ colonoscopies to his credit, Dr. Bhatia has hands-on expertise in advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including variceal band ligation, stricture dilatation, SEMS placement and ERCP for biliary interventions. His interests span across hepatology, IBD, pancreatitis and gastrointestinal malignancies. He has independently handled complex emergency cases and has published and presented academic work in national medical forums.
