Dr Sandhya N. Shah is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 27 years of clinical practice in women’s healthcare. She completed her MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College, followed by a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai. She later did her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Sandhya has further strengthened her academic training with a Diploma in Family Planning, a FOGSI training course in ultrasound at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, advanced certification in laparoscopic surgery from CICE, France and a Post Graduate Diploma in Medico-Legal Systems from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care, Pune.

Over the years, Dr. Sandhya has developed extensive expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, caring for women through important and sensitive stages of life. Her areas of clinical focus include pregnancy care, including high-risk obstetrics, infertility management, menopause care and preconception counselling. She also has considerable experience in family planning services, painless labor and the management of a wide range of gynecological conditions. Known for her compassionate and patient-centered approach, Dr. Sandhya believes that listening carefully, showing empathy and maintaining clear communication are essential to helping women feel comfortable and confident about their health decisions.

Dr. Sandhya currently practices as a Consultant at several multi speciality hospitals in Mumbai. She performs a range of gynecological procedures including hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery and management of ectopic pregnancy, always with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being. She is an active member of professional bodies including the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, Mumbai Obstetric and Gynecological Society, Indian Association of Gynecological Endoscopy, Indian Medical Association, the Association of Medical Consultants and the Association of Medical Women in India.
