She completed her MBBS and MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. She has further enhanced her expertise with a Fellowship in Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology from ISCCP, along with specialized training in Medical Genetics from ICMR, Mumbai, strengthening her approach to comprehensive and preventive women’s care.
She has trained and worked extensively at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, where she served as a Senior Resident and later as an Assistant Professor. She also held an academic role at Maulana Azad Medical College & Lok Nayak Hospital. During her tenure, she led the weekly menopause clinic at Safdarjung Hospital and has been actively involved in teaching, research and clinical practice. Dr. Shreshtha brings a thoughtful and patient-centered approach to care, with a strong focus on helping women understand their health concerns and make informed decisions at every stage of life.
