Dr. Dipanjan Panda is a highly accomplished Medical Oncologist with extensive academic and clinical training. He did his MBBS from N.R.S Medical College,Calcutta followed by an MD in Medicine from RIMS, Ranchi University. He then pursued specialized oncology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he completed his DM in Medical Oncology. Further honing his expertise, he undertook a post-doctoral research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, focusing on nanomedicine and cancer drug tolerance.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Dr. Panda has contributed significantly to oncology education and research. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Medical Oncology Department at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), where he also introduced India’s first dedicated Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit and a PDCC course in HPB oncology. A dedicated academician and researcher, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has been a speaker at prestigious global conferences. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the European Society of Medical Oncology and serves as a reviewer for Hepatology International.

Currently, Dr. Panda is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology at a Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi. He also plays a key role in medical education as the coordinator and advisor for the DNB teaching program in his department.
