Dr. Geeta Kadayaprath, Senior Director-Surgical Oncology (Breast) at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali and Patparganj has over 25years of experience as a Surgeon and 22 years of experience in Surgical Oncology. She completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi and MS (General surgery) from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. She has worked as a Research Fellow (Breast unit) Surgical Oncology at Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. She is also a Tutor for the MCh Breast Oncoplastic Master class in collaboration with University of East Anglia, UK.
Dr Geeta has wide experience in performing the entire array of breast surgery and her speciality interest lies in treating malignant diseases of the Breast, sentinel lymph node biopsy, Breast conservation surgery and Oncoplastic Breast surgery. She has set these as standard procedures in Max Hospital. She also spearheaded the formation of a Breast Support Group, a forum which extends ‘Care beyond cure’ to breast cancer patients.
Dr Geeta is Fellow of the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCS), Glasgow. She is a member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), Indian Association of Surgical Oncologists (IASO) and Executive member of Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI).
She is the Founder Secretary of the Delhi Breast Oncology Group (DBOG), Vice President of Oncology Forum and also the Founder President of the Comprehensive Breast Collaborative Group (CBCG).
Dr Geeta is also the Co-founder of Bliss Foundation, an organisation aimed at helping patients with breast cancer, research and training.
