Dr. Nimisha Shah is an experienced Consulting Corneal Surgeon with over two decades of dedicated clinical practice in ophthalmology. She completed her MBBS from P.T.J.N.M Medical College, Raipur, followed by a DNB in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She further strengthened her academic foundation with ICO Basic Sciences and ICO Clinical Sciences from the International Council of Ophthalmology, UK and pursued a Clinical Cornea Fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya/Medical Research Foundation, Chennai.

Dr. Nimisha brings strong clinical acumen in anterior segment care, with expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques including corneal topography, specular microscopy, aberrometry, Pentacam, AS-OCT, pachymetry, A-scan and ultrasonography. Over the years, she has performed a high volume of Cataract surgeries, including phacoemulsification with latest foldable Intraocular lenses (IOLs), SICS, ECCE, and combined procedures, with consistently reliable outcomes. Her surgical proficiency extends to a range of refractive procedures for spectacle removal such as LASIK, PRK, SMILE and bladeless, FEMTO LASIK, with a focus on achieving optimal visual results. She also has extensive experience in corneal and ocular surface surgeries, including corneal transplantation techniques like Penetrating Keratolasty (PK) and Lamellar Keratoplasty ( LK), as well as Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK)
