Dr. Shivanshu Mittal is a trained Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with over a decade of experience in managing complex bone and joint conditions. He completed his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, followed by MS in Orthopaedics from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and DNB in Orthopaedics. He has further strengthened his expertise with fellowships in arthroplasty and advanced training in trauma and joint replacement. Registered with the Medical Council of India and Uttar Pradesh Medical Council, Dr. Mittal combines strong academic credentials with comprehensive surgical training.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mittal has performed more than 7,000 orthopaedic surgeries, including over 3,000 knee replacements and 250+ hip arthroplasties, along with more than 1,000 trauma procedures. His areas of interest include trauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, spine disorders, paediatric orthopaedics and benign bone tumours. He has extensive experience in robotic knee replacement surgery and complex joint reconstruction. Having trained and worked at reputed institutions such as Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (with Padma Shri Dr. Ashok Rajgopal), Tata Hospital, Manipal Tata Medical College and other NABH-accredited centres, he is known for his precise surgical skills and systematic clinical approach. Patients appreciate his calm, polite manner and his ability to explain treatment plans in simple, reassuring language.

Currently, Dr. Mittal serves as Associate Professor and Unit Head in the Department of Orthopaedics at a Medical College in Ghaziabad, where he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is also associated as a visiting consultant with leading hospitals in Noida. Through his clinical practice and academic role, he remains committed to delivering ethical, patient-centred orthopaedic care focused on restoring mobility, reducing pain and helping patients return confidently to their daily activities.
