She did her MBBS from Rabindranath Medical College, Udaipur followed by Post Graduate Diploma in Pediatrics from SP Medical College, Bikaner. Later, she acquired a PhD in Preventive Medicine from AIIMS, Delhi.
Dr Deepika has a deep understanding of Vaccines and Immunization as a National Expert with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. She was also in the Expert panel of ICMR for drafting Treatment Protocols in an ethical & standardized manner. She is a life member of Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) and Indian Medical Association (IMA).
