She did her MBBS from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Sambalpur, Odisha and completed her MD in Psychiatry at Banaras Hindu University. Further honing her expertise, she pursued a senior residency at the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh.
