Mr. Amit Kumar is a RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). He holds an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from IGNOU and a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Jamia Millia Islamia University. He has been rigorously trained at several premier institutions, including Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Janakpuri Super Specialty Hospital and The Happy Tree Mental Health Centre, gaining extensive clinical exposure during his internships.

Mr. Kumar brings comprehensive clinical acumen backed by years of hands-on experience in psychotherapy, psychodiagnostics and neuropsychological assessments. He has worked across a range of mental health settings and supported individuals with psychiatric and emotional challenges through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavior Therapy and Sex Therapy. His areas of expertise include working with children, adults and senior citizens, using a client-centered and evidence-based approach. He has also actively contributed to research and academic discourse, winning Best Paper at the 48th NACIACP Conference for his M.Phil. dissertation on stroke rehabilitation.

Currently, Mr. Kumar practices as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Bhiwadi, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at GD Goenka University, Gurugram. In his roles, he is engaged in both clinical care and academic mentorship and is known for his empathetic therapeutic style and structured intervention strategies. His broader goal is to enhance psychological resilience and emotional well-being in the community through integrated mental health care and education.
