Dr. Surabhi Somani is a passionate Tobacco Cessation expert, wellness advocate, and entrepreneur with a profound commitment to positively impacting diverse sectors. Dr Surabhi Somani is a qualified BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. She went on to complete her MPH and was further certified as a professional in tobacco control. She has done extensive research in this field and obtained certification from John Hopkins, Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has trained 1000 plus Health Care professionals and has counselled 6000 plus tobacco users.

She has over 13 years of experience as a Tobacco Control Expert and Cessation counsellor with various stakeholders (country, regional and global) to mitigate the catastrophe caused by tobacco consumption

As a testament to her commitment to excellence, Dr Somani spearheads AACHARYA, the sole accredited Tobacco Treatment Training Program in the Asian continent by Council of Tobacco Treatment Training Program (CTTTP). Through AACHARYA, she continues to shape the next generation of tobacco treatment professionals, contributing significantly to the advancement of public health.

With a wealth of experience spanning clinical, government, education, corporate, and non-profit sectors, Dr. Somani has played a pivotal role in advancing tobacco control initiatives across Asia and Africa. Her collaborations include esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO)

Dr. Somani's remarkable contributions have earned her prestigious positions in globally recognized organizations, including The Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence (ATTUD) and CTTTP, both pioneers in tobacco control and management.

Additionally, she serves as a valued member of the Task Force for Tobacco Control at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), the Government of India's recognized Nodal Agency on matters related to National Health Policy and Planning.

Dr Somani also offers Tobacco Cessation Counselling which includes a full 3 months package with weekly counselling and medication advice to the person consuming Tobacco.
