He has trained at globally renowned centres including The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto (Canada), Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and Royal North Shore Private Hospital (Australia), Yonsei Okay Hospital (South Korea), Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego (USA), the Schoen Clinic (Germany) and leading institutions in Mumbai and Pune, India. His global work and training spans from minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery including non surgical laser procedures to complex spine deformity paediatric and adult spine surgery, giving him a strong foundation in evidence-based, multidisciplinary spine care.
With over a decade of dedicated spine surgery experience, Dr. Raj specialises in complex spinal deformity correction, minimally invasive tubular and biportal endoscopic spine surgery and navigation-assisted procedures. He is widely recognised for his academic contributions, with more than 40 international publications and over hundreds of presentations at global conferences. He is a co-founder of SpineTv, part of OrthoTv online education forum and hosts the global livestream spine podcast Vertebral views.
