Ms. Monica Tyagi is a certified Yoga Acharya and Wellness Expert with over 17 years of experience in guiding individuals towards a healthier and more balanced life. She holds multiple certifications from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, including Yoga Wellness Instructor (Level 2) and Yoga Protocol Instructor (Level 1). She has also attained basic and advanced level Yoga Teacher Training through the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and Yoga Teacher training with the Sri Aurobindo Education Society. Previously she was in a high pressure corporate job and is an MBA from the International Management Institute, New Delhi, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. Her strong academic foundation, combined with continuous learning through workshops with renowned yoga practitioners, reflects her deep commitment to holistic wellness.
Over the years, Ms. Monica has worked closely with individuals across age groups and lifestyles, from corporate professionals and new mothers to seniors, helping them find balance amidst the demands of daily life. Her approach is rooted in the belief that yoga is a journey inward, where postures and breathwork serve as tools to cultivate a calmer mind and a more resilient body. She specialises in Vinyasa, Hatha and Integral Yoga and brings a thoughtful, personalised approach to every session. Whether supporting individuals through stress, lifestyle conditions or transitional phases of life, she focuses on building sustainable practices that gently evolve with each person’s needs.
Ms. Monica is the Founder of a Yoga studio where she has guided over 500 students through one-on-one sessions and group classes. Her work extends to corporate wellness programmes, school yoga sessions and community initiatives, including International Yoga Day events. A former senior corporate professional with The Times of India Group, she brings structure, clarity and empathy into her teaching. Known for her warm and people centric approach, she aims to create a supportive space where individuals can move, breathe and reconnect with themselves at their own pace.
