She holds an MBBS and a Postgraduate Diploma in Pediatrics (DCH) from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sewagram. Furthering her expertise, she completed a Post-graduation in Developmental Neurology (PGDDN) from the Child Developmental Centre (CDC) in Trivandrum, Kerala and is currently a PhD scholar in Public Health at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi.
