Dr. Arpita Mohapatra is an accomplished specialist in Fetal Medicine ( FMF- UK certified ) with a strong academic foundation and a commitment to advancing women’s healthcare. She completed her MBBS from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur. She did her senior residency in the department of Fetal medicine in Maulana Azad Medical College , New Delhi for a period of 2 years. She holds additional qualifications including DNB, MNAMS, FMAS, MRCOG Part 1 and also completed a fellowship in Advanced Fetal Medicine from the ADI Centre for Fetal Care in Bangalore.

Blending precision in diagnosis with deep compassion, Dr. Arpita brings over five years of focused experience in fetal medicine. Her expertise includes NT and anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, neurosonography, Dopplers and advanced fetal procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, fetal reduction and radiofrequency ablation. She is also trained in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries and has an extensive obstetric background, having performed thousands of cesarean sections and normal deliveries. Her research work, including publications in leading journals and textbook chapters, further highlights her academic rigor and contribution to the field.

Dr. Arpita is also a credentialed menopause practitioner by the Indian Menopause Society (CIMP). She provides individualized, evidence-based care for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Her treatment plans combine hormone therapy, lifestyle modification, and integrative approaches to address issues such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and sexual health concerns—helping women transition smoothly through midlife with confidence and comfort.

Dr. Arpita currently serves as Consultant in Fetal Medicine in a reputed hospital in New Delhi. A life member of FOGSI and the Indian Menopause Society, she actively participates in national conferences and workshops, continually updating her clinical acumen. Known for her empathy and precision, she remains dedicated to guiding expectant mothers with clarity and care through the critical stages of fetal development.
