Dr Utpal Laxmikant Joshi is a gold medalist Obstetrician and Gynecologist with an MBBS, DGO and MD from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. He topped the university in his MD, earning three gold medals and a university prize and also ranked second in the DGO examination. In addition to his core qualifications, he holds certifications in ultrasonography, computer applications and hospital and healthcare management (PGDHHM from IGNOU), reflecting a commitment to both clinical excellence and healthcare systems.

With over 27 years of post-MD experience, Dr. Joshi has established a strong reputation in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has independently performed more than 3,000 major surgeries -including cesarean sections, various types of hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures and complex gynecological interventions, as well as over 7,000 minor surgeries and 2,500 vaginal deliveries. He has also conducted diagnostic ultrasounds and has a special interest in menstrual disorders, couple counseling and hospital administration.

Dr. Joshi began his career at Sheth N. N. Hospital, Randheja, where he served as Superintendent and Consultant for over five years. He then held a senior role for more than two decades as a Class I Gynecologist at ESIS General Hospital, Surat under the Government of Gujarat. After voluntarily retiring in July 2024, he now offers his expertise through online consultations, continuing his dedication to patient care with the same precision and compassion that has defined his distinguished medical journey.
