Dr. Jaya Verlani is a Pediatric Nephrologist and Transplant Physician with a strong academic background. She completed her MBBS from B.J. Government Medical College, Pune and her postgraduate DNB in Pediatrics at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, where she was awarded the Dr. C.K. Bhalla/K.R. Seth Award for Best Resident in 2017. She further specialized with a DM in Pediatric Nephrology from the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru. Her academic work includes a prize-winning presentation on genetic profiling in renal tubular acidosis and a published case report in the Journal of Pediatric Neurology.
Dr. Jaya brings deep clinical expertise in managing a wide spectrum of pediatric renal disorders, including glomerular and tubular diseases, chronic kidney disease and renal failure. She is proficient in performing critical renal procedures such as kidney biopsies and dialysis catheter insertions and in managing both peritoneal dialysis and advanced hemodialysis techniques (IHD, SLED, CRRT).
