Ms. Varuna Sharma is a licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She holds an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, Kolkata, a Master’s in Psychology (Clinical) from Banaras Hindu University and a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Calcutta. With a strong academic foundation, she has further refined her expertise through specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), crisis intervention and psychological assessments. She is also a member of the Alzheimer’s Association International Society to Advance Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment (ISTAART).

With over six years of experience, Ms. Sharma adopts an eclectic, trauma-informed approach to therapy, tailoring interventions such as supportive psychotherapy, motivational enhancement therapy and cognitive stimulation therapy to each individual's unique needs. She has extensive experience working in clinical and research settings, including her role as a Project Research Scientist II at the Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi, where she contributed to the SMRUTHI-India dementia prevention project. She has also worked in psycho-oncology, neuropsychology and mental health initiatives, conducting training sessions on psychometric assessments and delivering seminars on stress management, anxiety and sleep disorders.

Currently, Ms. Varuna practices as a Consultant Licensed Clinical Psychologist at different institutions while leading her independent practice. She provides online therapy, helping individuals navigate psychosocial challenges. Her research contributions include multiple publications in esteemed journals such as the Cochrane Library and ESMO Open. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys photography, sketching and outdoor sports, embodying the principles of self-care that she encourages in her clients.
